WLRP Yard Sale

We have children's puzzles and games, shelving, and more for sale. All proceeds will go towards our language immersion camp.

Prayer Class in One Day 

Saturday July 11th, 2026 9am-3pm Location: TBD​​​​​​​

This class will teach learners in an immersive environment how to say basic prayers. Registration information will be shared in June.

 

Annual Wôpanâak Language Immersion Camp  

August 1st-2nd, 2026 at the Wampanoag Common Lands in Kingston, Ma 

Our Annual Wôpanâak Immersion Camp gathers tribal families for a weekend of intergenerational connection through language and culture. Through immersive experiences grounded in our values, learners strengthen language skills while deepening relationships with culture, identity, and each other.  All ages welcome and encouraged. Registration details will be shared in June. 

 

Âs Nutayuneân Documentary Screening and Q&A 

August 15th from 12pm to 2pm at the Museum of African American History (Nantucket)

Come learn about the history of WLRP and Wôpanâôt8âôk as the first language reclaimed while having no native speakers left!

               

NOTE: All learners must be an enrolled citizen, or a household member of an enrolled citizen of the: Assonet Band of Wampanoag; Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe; Herring Pond Wampanoag Tribe; or Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe
